Since 1988, the Journées de la Matière Condensée (JMC) have been organized every even-numbered year by the Condensed Matter Physics Division of the Société Française de Physique (SFP).

The themes addressed cover all areas of condensed matter, from concepts to applications. The success of these days makes them the largest national condensed matter physics congress in France (500-700 participants).
