Since 1988, the Journées de la Matière Condensée (JMC) have been organized every even-numbered year by the Condensed Matter Physics Division of the Société Française de Physique (SFP).

The themes addressed cover all areas of condensed matter, from concepts to applications. The success of these days makes them the largest national condensed matter physics congress in France (500-700 participants).

Registration will open in early spring 2026.

In the meantime, we're counting on you to propose the organization of a Mini-Symposia on your scientific research area (see dedicated tab). This is a chance to highlight your scientific community within the condensed matter family.
